The workshop  provides a relaxed working environment in which to interact with other economists, facilitate co-authorship, catch up with co-authored work.  Joint participation by co-authors, and by young researchers is particularly encouraged.

The daily schedule is as follows:

1. -A morning session, which focuses on a different topic each day,  and consists of four seminar presentations with formal discussion
   

2. -An afternoon session dedicated to individual work and collaborative research, with the possibility of organizing informal presentations.
   

Topics include:

   Culture and social values

   Credit markets and the macroeconomy

   Information, coordination and incentives

   Labor and migration

The structure of daily activities is meant to facilitate interaction and collaboration among researchers, giving to each participant the possibility to present and discuss her work in progress with the others, and catch up with their ongoing research projects.
